Cornell University: Off the Record (College Prowler) (College Prowler: Cornell University Off the Record) Review
College Prowler books are well worth the investment for students and parents investigating colleges. They give a detailed picture of the school, written from current students' perspectives. Once you have narrowed your list of schools to 10 or fewer, I would recommend buying the College Prowler titles for all of those. It's a small investment compared to the cost of visiting the campus, application fees, and -- of course -- TUITION!

See how students rate their campus when it s time to look beyond the brochures and talk about the issues that really matter.Introduction from the AuthorCornell's reputation as a top-tier university precedes itself. With its proven track record in academic excellence, the University is at the forefront of education, and as an Ivy League, its character is deeply rooted in tradition. On its own accord, Cornell is pushing the envelope in many ways: providing its students with state-of-the-art facilities, cutting-edge computing technologies, and one of the most dedicated and stimulating faculty anywhere around. As a student, you will be provided with all of the resources you could possibly imagine to help you follow your interests and pursue your passion. You will encounter professors who are experts in their respective fields of study and read highly-acclaimed books that the professors have authored. In this sense, you will be certain to associate and interact with the best of the best. In Cornell s highly competitive and intense work environment, students are continually learning how to push themselves further, take initiative, and develop a work ethic vital to success after graduation. Students reap the rewards of the countless hours they put in as they steadily expand their intellectual capital. What establishes Cornell as one of the most dynamic universities consists of a combination of intangible aspects, including a sense of community and pride that really can t be conveyed until you re actually a student and can see for yourself. You ll be sure to meet people from all over the globe, as you share Ithaca as a home and form closely knit bonds with students both very similar and very different from yourself. Your experiences here - academic, social, and extracurricular - will no doubt shape in part who you are, and your degree from Cornell will open countless doors for years to come. My experience at Cornell has been an extremely rewarding one, and I m thrilled to have the opportunity to share all of the various facets of my education that made it so satisfying. Choosing a place where you intend to spend four seriously influential years of your life is not an easy decision. I hope this book will make your difficult choices a little easier and give you some color on the University in general and an idea of what life might be like as a Cornellian.
