Teacher Friendly Chemistry Labs and Activities ReviewThis fall was my first year teaching. The school I teach at is a private catholic school and has little funding for supplies. These labs are fun, reproducible, inexpensive and can be done in an hour or less including clean up time. The layout is fantastic. There are teacher notes helping you to prepare, student labs, and the answer keys as well. My favorite part is that each lab has a make-up lab with "dummy" data. This is fantastic when kids are gone. They still get the idea of the lab and can receive points, but I am not stuck after school trying to set up multiple make-up labs on different days. I also love that there are quizes available to give the students the next day to help the concepts set in. The author has been so kind and helpful to me I am glad the book is as fantastic as she has been. I would recommend this book to new and old teachers alike!
